LEGAL BASIS FOR DISTILLERY PRODUCTION IN THE THIRD HALF OF THE NINETEENTH CENTURY<\/strong> <\/strong>AND THEIR IMPACT TO NOBLE WINE SMOKING[2]<\/strong><\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Annotation<\/strong>. Wine smoking was for a long time one of the few types of production developed almost exclusively within the nobility, both at the will of the legislator and because of its close connection with agriculture. Many local noblemen were involved in this type of production activity, both for the needs of the State, for which it was one of the most important sources of income, and for their own benefit. At the same time, the legal bases of distillery production were closely related to the legal status of the highest estates, in the XVIII and early XIX centuries, when the rights of nobility expanded, landowners had practically a monopoly in this sphere, when autocracy began to reduce their rights and benefits, wine smoking ceased to have a class identity, becoming accessible to many. On this basis, the article considered the problems of the legal regulation of distillery production, the transition from the buying system to the excise, as well as the influence on the state of wine smoking of the complex of economic reforms of the middle of the XIX century.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
