HISTORICAL CONDITIONS FOR THE IMPLEMENTATION OF CRIMINAL RESPONSIBILITY OF WOMEN FOR COMMITTED CRIMES

This article discusses the main historical conditions for the implementation of the criminal responsibility of women for crimes committed. More than one generation of researchers has been interested in the problems of female criminality. Such criminality seems to be an unacceptable phenomenon and is condemned by society. After all, a woman by her nature is always associated with such values as care, tenderness, preservation of the family hearth. The criminality of women differs from the criminality of men in its scale, nature of crimes, means and instruments of implementation, scope, frequency of commission, as well as the choice of the victim of a criminal assault. Women are increasingly mastering male professions (army, police, politics, and sports), in connection with which they cannot or do not want to do only housework and raising children. This is one of the possible factors that determine the commission of crimes by a certain part of women. The problems of female criminality and criminality in the family sphere are of interest to both criminologists and psychologists, sociologists, and teachers.
