It analyzes biopolitical methods of governance that are formalized and reproduced within AI systems, and how they contribute to the transformation of the human being into a human resource subordinated to corporate interests. The study is based on Michel Foucault’s biopolitical framework, supplemented by modern approaches to understanding digitalization, control, productivity, and management. The role of digitalization in accelerating the transition from Homo sapiens to the enterprise-self is highlighted. It is noted that the enterprise-self faces competition not only from other individuals but also from AI, which, due to its lack of biological limitations, has several advantages that make it more efficient than human labor. This dynamic further impacts the worker and intensifies dehumanization. The article pays special attention to scenarios of interaction between the enterprise-self and AI managers, and assesses the possible consequences of this transformation for society as a whole. As a potential solution, the author proposes emphasizing education and meaningful self-development as ways to resist total digitalization.

Keywords: enterprise-self, artificial intelligence, biopolitics, digitalization, management, human resource, corporation.

For citation: Sidorochkin M.A. (2025) Artificial Intelligence as a Highly Efficient Manager for the Enterprise-Self: Biopolitical Methods of Governance in the Corporate Environment. Social norms and practices. No. 1.
