HOW LIVE, MORDOVIA? INFLUENCE OF MATERIAL AND\nINTANGIBLE FACTORS ON THE SOCIAL BENEFIT OF THE POPULATION<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The\narticle deals with topical issues of the study of social well-being and quality\nof life in the regional society. The problem of interpretation and allocation\nof the main parameters of the study of social well-being poses an important\nresearch problem: what parameters can be used to carry out sociological\nmeasurement of social well-being of the population as a whole and individual\nsocial groups. The aim of the study is to consider various quantitative and\nqualitative characteristics of social well-being of the population of a\nparticular region. The article describes the results of a mass sociological\nsurvey of the population of the Republic of Mordovia by the method of questioning,\nas a result of which new empirical data characterizing the main material and\nnon-material parameters and aspects of life of the population were obtained. As\na result of the assessment of a number of parameters, it was found that most\noften the objective characteristics of the population’s life (such as income,\nhousing, etc.) directly affect the subjective assessment of respondents and the\ndegree of their satisfaction with their own lives. And, despite the positive\nassessment of personal spheres of life, it is the achievement of material\nvalues (or their non-achievement) that has a greater impact on the complexity\nof evaluation and social well-being in General.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
