At its\ncore, the Leaders of the nobility, both County and provincial acted as\nExecutive and administrative officials of noble societies with important\norganizational powers. At the same time, the leaders of noble corporations had\nimportant mediation functions, defending the interests of the estate in\nrelations with the provincial and even Central government. The article analyzes\nthe key stages of legislative consolidation of this institution in the second\nhalf of the XVIII \u2013 early XIX century.
