THE NATURE OF YOUTH RADICALISM

Annotation. Extremism is an extreme expression of radicalism. At the same time, radicalism is most characteristic of young people. There are many reasons for this. These are the psychological, sociological and economic reasons that make up the essence of this social phenomenon. Knowledge of the nature of youth radicalism allows you to determine the main directions for its prevention, which allows you to simultaneously prevent youth extremism. Currently, radicalism is not in the field of view of the legislator. This omission should certainly be overcome, since such legislation would prevent young people from committing crimes. But, unfortunately, it is not sufficiently researched. There is no complete understanding of the mechanisms that push young people to radicalism. At the same time, it is quite obvious that this is a rather complex mechanism that needs to be known. The danger of youth radicalism is that it is the basis for creating and forming ideologies that are dangerous to society and the state and provoke destructive actions. However, it is quite possible to prevent them by knowing the specifics of the mechanism of development and formation of youth radicalism. It is necessary to see the prerequisites that precede it, affecting which it is not difficult to prevent the appearance of a corresponding manifestation of youth radicalism. These problems were the subject of consideration in this article.
